Lim Wei Jie
Lim Wei Jie is a filmmaker based in Malaysia since early 2018. He graduated from Tisch, NYU with a double-major in Philosophy and Film Production. He’s an alumnus of the New York Film Festival’s Critics Academy and Tokyo International Film Festival’s Southeast Asia Programmer’s Workshop. He currently heads SeaShorts Film Festival as the Programme Director. His first feature documentary, Diary of A Missing Village, is currently in development and has participated in Docs by the Sea 2019 and Asiadoc 2019.
Yong Keenen
Keenen Yong is a graduate of the London Film School. His interests lie in directing, editing and sound mixing. His latest film credits include editor for ‘Los Fantasmas’ (2020) and sound recordist for ‘If you see her, say hello’ (2021).
Kiefer Yung
Being born and raised in Toronto, Canada for the majority of his life, Kiefer Yung wanted to connect with his Asian roots while doing what he loves – cinematography. Intrigued with the technical aspects of filmmaking, he found great joy and fulfillment in the collaborative process of helping others accomplish their vision. From commercial to narrative, Kiefer continually looks to master his craft and to combine the right cinematic language for the story. Having been working in Malaysia for the last few years, he looks to continue to help picture the many interesting stories this country has to tell.
Zann
Zann is currently pursuing his graduate studies in media arts at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya Malaysia. Born and raised in Batu Caves, Selangor, Foong’s current practice is informed by his interest in technology and the arts. After dropping out from architecture school, he majored in Media Arts at Multimedia University. His current practice ranges from moving images, installations and live performance.
